If your child has a sensory hammock type swing, where did you get it from?

As per the title, I'm thinking of getting a sensory hammock type swing for DC (age 5) for the summer.

I want to attach it to the swing set outside and am wondering where to buy from.

If anyone has any recommendations I'd appreciate it. The reviews on the ones on amazon are fairly awful.)

Thank you Smile

We have had a couple of different hammock things, although they all have some movement neither were really designed for actual swinging though.

This hanging pod worked well for us. Mine like small enclosed spaces so would climb in to calm dow or just to hang put and read a book. www.amazon.co.uk/HOMCOM-Hanging-Hammock-Indoor-Outdoor/dp/B079RLWXMH/ref=asc_df_B079RLWXMH/?hvlocphy=1006567&linkCode=df0&hvptwo&psc=1&hvnetw=g&hvadid=205291394354&hvpone&hvlocint&hvpos&hvdev=t&hvdvcmdl&hvqmt&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&hvtargid=pla-439040611080&hvrand=8982984234216726804

After they outgrew the pod we bought this. www.amazon.co.uk/Hi-Suyi-Anti-Gravity-Carabiners-Extension/dp/B073CP144Y/ref=sr_1_6?crid=2F1TOHPCXP4RC&keywords=Yoga+hammock&sprefix=yoga%2520hammock%2520%2Caps%2C182&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&qid=1648492973&sr=8-6
Again they will hang out in it, but it's not as enclosed as they would really like.

For actual swinging we stuck with a standard swing. We had a 3 in 1 seat, so you could take of the baby harness but still have a more supportive seat than just the flat swings.

We have the first one you linked for our 4 year old. He spends many hours in it - would definitely recommend

Does anyone know where to get one where you don't have to attach to the roof so like a swing with stand type of thing

@zara223

You can get frames to hang them from. This sort of thing www.amazon.co.uk/CASART-Hammock-Construction-Chairs-Swings/dp/B07TTNNY4Q/?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

We had our pod hung in a climbing frame. Worked well for us as it stopped the swinging it too wildly. This is the one we have www.tptoys.com/collections/metal-climbing-frames-all/products/tp-explorer-metal-climbing-frame-with-platform-den
