menopause and hormones

I was going to put this in women's health, but then I thought that on MN, pregnancy, birth, menopause affect the majority of us on MN and this information should be available to everyone.

I had early menopause and wasn't offered HRT or any kind of support. I now have pelvic floor problems and severe osteoporosis and have had several fractures. My mother died as a result of severe osteoporosis and multiple fractures.
I wish I had had this information 20 years ago.
