If you could go anywhere next month

Where would you go? Just for a few days ?

Looking to go for a city break and can go anywhere I choose but would like it to be Europe or UK.

Going with DH . We like to mooch and shop and eat and people watch. Maybe some architecture or art but not in huge quantities.

Any recommendations

Istanbul. Outstanding place to mooch, people watch and especially eat. Mixture of architecture as background and to look closer at. I don't shop really so can't speak for that but there's plenty of haggling to be had.

Budapest. My fave European city for all the activities you mention. And also, the thermal baths where you can soak, mooch and people watch in fabulous surroundings too. It's also a lot cheaper than most for eating and drinking (not on Euro) and accommodation is very reasonable.

Munich, has everything!
