How many RSVPs Vs actual attendants

Gave out birthday invites for my daughter's party next weekend at the start of last week. We have had half of the RSVPs to back now which is great.

Do people tend to turn up if they haven't RSVPd? Want to make sure I order enough food 😃

How long is a piece of string? There will be kids giving the parents the invitation the night before in my recent experience.
I'd send out reminders Wednesday...

Was that just two weeks notice? You might find quite a few people can’t come, so maybe a fair amount of non responders are ‘no’s.

Can you start asking if people got the invitation ok?

It's a nursery party so the teacher hands the invite to the parent at drop off, had a few more RSVPs today. I don't know any of the parents at all so can't really ask them.

Did you put an RSVP by date on the invitation? If not, lesson learnt for next time as people tend to leave it until the last minute to reply so you will probably get responses tricking in this week.

I've never had someone turn up to a party who hadn't RSVP'ed. Non repliers have never turned up.

You might not know the parents but presumably your child knows their child and can point them out?

Yes she could but we all have separate drop off times so you never see more than 2 parents at a time so would have to hang around at the gates for 45 mins 🙈 it's fine, there's now only 4 people who haven't RSVPd yet so either way will be fine! I didn't put a date so I'll definitely remember that for next year 😂
