I discovered I was working with a Moldie. That was a bizarre moment. Chatting by the kettle and mentioned MN and she lets slip she was one of the first ever members (and just had name+surname as her username) and was a Moldie.
It was like catching someone by the water cooler with their trouser leg rolled up kissing a turkey's arse (or other vaguely Masonic things)

I'm still around, though I de-regged a while back and now change names every week

Nice to see some old names. I miss the larfs, it's all so serious now.

Well this is rather lovely! I was never in the quiche, not witty or cool enough, but remember you all fondly. I can still remember hovering over a link thinking 'is this going to be the bat tho!?' and feeling stupid when I'd been had AGAIN!

I often think of yorkiegirl (I think it was) who's husband suddenly died whilst they were on holiday, and how she rebuilt her life and then also tragically lost her second husband

I've shed actual tears over the years on here, the cubed poo being one of my favourites (and the bat)

AF still here. Not as prolific as before, but still magnificent. I think SGB is still too, though our paths don't cross. Dittany I think left and MN is a poorer place as a result. I certainly owe her. Both for teaching me stuff I vaguely thought I already knew but really didn't, and for defending me on (of all things) an Amanda Knox thread which was hijacked by some very strange and over-invested abuse apologists.

Yes, Dittany was brilliant. I learnt a lot from her too. There was also Buffy and LittleRedDragon who were very knowledgeable.

This thread has sent me on a bit of a trip down memory lane!
