Spa Day - London (outdoor pool/jacuzzi?)

Hoping for some recommendations…

I’m planning a spa day with a friend in a couple of weeks, ideally we would have gone to a night to nice countryside hotel (I like the MacDonald hotels etc) but we need to squish it into 1 day because of childcare Sad

Has anyone been to a nice day spa/hotel spa in London (z1 or west/northwest london ideally) that they recommend? A hotel with some grounds/an outdoor pool or jacuzzi would be amazing

It seems like a lot of the hotels have all the facilities in the basement so some daylight would be nice (or if it’s an amazing spa but all inside I’m still interested to know)

The Bamford Wellness Spa at The Berkeley in Knightsbridge has a rooftop pool. No outdoor grounds though - and are you sure an outdoor pool is the best idea? No guarantees of warm weather in early April.

The Canary Riverside Plaza has a spa with indoor glass enclosed pool with views; though unsure if they do just spa days for non-hotel guests.

Not London but St Albans in Herts (18 mins from St Pancras)- Sopwell House, gorgeous spa garden.

Come slightly further West and book into Thames Lido. Great pool and the food is amazing.

Oh wow - thanks for all these suggestions!

@LairyMcClairy: thanks for this, another of our mutual friends lives in St Albans so I think a summer outing at Sopwell house might be on the cards another time Smile

@aibutohavethisusername: love the look of Thames lido too, hopefully try it later on

@ComtesseDeSpair… I reluctantly have to agree with you! Weather forecast is not looking as glorious as this last week. The spa with views you have suggested sounds like a pretty sensible compromise… I will look into it
