Places for dinner in Clapham Junction/Clapham/Battersea

Help! I need to find a last minute table for tomorrow night. It's for a party of all adults so we'd rather not go to a chain or family friendly place (ykwim). Somewhere nice but not £££, maybe an Italian restaurant? Or somewhere that does Sunday roasts in the evening.

I know it's a long shot because Mother's Day but does anyone have any suggestions?

My friends and I always go to Bueno Sera on Northcote road a few mins walk from Clapham junction. Decent, family run trattoria with great pizza and good prices.. you will need to book wherever you go there though!

The Humble Grape on Battersea Rise does fabulous food but not sure what time they serve their roasts till. But the area is called Nappy Valley for a reason. All of the restaurants recommended on Northcote Road and around will have plenty of children, especially on Mother’s Day.

You could also try Battersea power station - it has brindosa, Wright brothers, a Gordon Ramsay pizza place and some others.
