I did as the OP did and went to Turkey for a gastric sleeve in November. I’m now 8.5 stones down (still a way to go) and my life has improved immeasurably. I’m off the antidepressants I’d been on for 19 years, blood pressure is now normal and I’m just generally in a better place.

What’s yours?

A more simple one for me but we lived in a house with really awful neighbours who made our life a misery. We really wanted to move to a detached house but I couldn't figure out how to get the size of mortgage that we needed to move up to a detached. At the time I'd never ever heard of a mortgage broker until somebody recommended seeing one on here. We're now living in our dream home!

Look under the money section on here, and the £10 a day threads. Lots of us have quit our jobs and work online doing various stuff. I'm a content moderator and love it.
