Garden furniture

We have a new pergola/gazebo in the garden and want to put some chairs in it - something you can lounge in, or sit and have coffee etc.

Looking around, this sofa has been around for years. Has it had its day?

Is there a new trend, or can anyone recommend anything nicer?

Can’t seem to post photo.

I’m not keen on these rattan, square look. Too much grey?

I always think it must be close to falling out of fashion but then can’t think of what else would weather so well.

We're also looking for some lounging garden furniture and apart from these grey or brown box style seats there's not much else.

I wouldn't mind so much but some of these sets are very expensive.

There doesn't seem to be much else.

Went to a garden centre this morning and saw this. The sides aren’t square, and it didn’t just come in grey.

We also just went the sofa and don’t need the extra chair or table included in the set.

The grey is quite nice but the seats are quite thin. The Dobbies one looks less boxy and more padded.

Can't see the photos but can highly recommend Dobbies. The one set I had my heart set on for rattan furniture for ages went up by £2000 in lock down and claimed it had 20% off
Absolute rubbish, it was on my wish list for two years at the same price
Dobbies said they'd deliver in about 3/4 weeks, they had text within 2 hours with a delivery date of 4 days
Very impressed and went back and spent more, Seriously, I couldn't fault them

Made are the best for garden furniture imo. Nice designs, no boxy rattan. Ours has lasted really well, we store the cushions inside every night but the frames have been out 4 years now and still great.

Try homesense

Try Moda furnishings, lots of options, expensive but good quality.

Aldi has garden furniture. It's very reasonable. Appears to be good quality

I would also 2nd Made.com for garden sofas. We have one, as like yourselves didn't want a whole set. Ours has been great, it's lasted really well outside all year, it looks like new. We keep the cushions inside, but the base stays outside.
