Does anyone get PMS symptoms after their period?

My period was last weekend but today I am feeling so low, craving sugar and chocolate and have a couple of big sore spots. Which is usually what I get in the week before my period. This has happened a few times. I’m hoping I’m not menopausal or something in my early 30s! Also not pregnant for info. Is this normal?

It'll be linked to hormones but it won't be PMS as the P in PMS stands for 'pre'. Have you ever tried period tracking? I keep an excel spreadsheet and when I log in for work I add how I'm feeling from a list of 10 emotions and it's incredible how I feel exactly the same, on almost exactly the same days, every single month.

This has started happening to me the last few months. Was slightly concerned it was after my covid booster but I'm still breastfeeding so it could be that... Its odd as I feel like my hormones have done a u turn in that I almost get a peak after ovulation now of feeling good, then get my period and on day 2 I feel a bit depressed and irritable where as I usually perk up when my period arrives. Age 38

We’ve noticed this in DD, so in her case @bananatwain we say it stands for ‘post’ Smile

Haha, that works too!

@bananatwain I do use an app but it only predicts your next period, it doesn’t remind you of symptoms. Maybe I’ll try a spreadsheet instead.

Yes me too @ZippyZap so this is kind of frustrating because I know there isn’t my period in a few days to make me feel better.
