Hey, could anyone please help me out?
I have a 3 year 3 month old who is 16 kg and is going through a rapid growth spurt. He’s quite tall for his age but it’s mostly in his legs so he has plenty of height left in the seat (Britax dualfix I-size toddler seat). He’s growing so fast I’m not sure how long it will take to get to 18kg.
I was just wondering, do I need to get him a new seat if he reaches 18kg? Even if there’s room left in the height of the headrest? Only because I know that I-size car seats are based off height but I don’t know if weight is still relevant.
