Flower delivery by sunday

Mother’s Day has slipped me by (to be fair, I live in a country where it’s celebrated on a different day…I’m not a totally crap daughter Grin) and I would like to order my mum some flowers (prefs a massive bunch of daffodils - her favourite but cool with anything)
Tried a couple of local Florists but they don’t have availability.

Can anyone recommend somewhere online to get reasonably priced (read, £25 tops) flowers in time for Sunday? She’s in N London

Thanks

Bloom & Wild?

LaraDeSalle · 25/03/2022 15:20

I would google a flower shop near to her address and phone them.

Moonpig are slightly more but are accepting orders until 7pm

M&S are doing Mother's Day deliveries too I think

Nanasueathome · 25/03/2022 15:24

I think Waitrose florist are still accepting orders too

Interflora are accepting deliveries but you might struggle on your budget.

I just ordered some for delivery tomorrow as it's half the price of getting them delivered on Sunday Grin

I used Bloom and Wild last year and they were awful. I'd never use them again.

LabelMaker · 25/03/2022 15:38

I think you might have to up your budget

I do this too, "so they'll look better" on the day
fairylightsandwaxmelts · 25/03/2022 15:42

Ooh, I like that reasoning @LabelMaker Grin

It was £7 for next day delivery (tomorrow) or £11 for Sunday delivery! No way am I paying £11 to get some flowers delivered lol.

FinnRussell · 25/03/2022 15:44

I think you will struggle for £25. Daffodils are lovely, I'd much prefer that to a traditional bouquet. Rope in a friend and ask them to drop them off, you could fill her house with daffodils for £25.

girlmom21 · 25/03/2022 15:51

If you can get to your local DPD branch before 5 you'll be better off going and buying 3 or 4 bunches and tying a string or ribbon around them and sending them on their Sunday delivery service if you only want daffs

NoraNancy · 25/03/2022 15:56

I ordered Bloom & Wild an hour ago for Sunday delivery - came to £38, with £10 discount code mentioned above - £28

lottie222 · 25/03/2022 16:16

Free delivery on M&S I just got an order in for Sunday

Startuplife · 25/03/2022 16:21

I ordered from Bloom & Wild at 10pm Wednesday night with just the standard delivery and they arrived lunchtime today so less

Fuzzy303 · 25/03/2022 16:22

I ordered bloom & wild about half an hour ago for Sunday

romany4 · 25/03/2022 17:59

@romany4 Did they get there?
I got a phone call yesterday from Flowercard telling me they had to cancel as they ran out of stock. I ordered for special delivery on Mother’s Day 2 weeks ago.
Terrible service. I will never use them again. I have given them a bad review on Trust pilot

Oh that's so bad. The one day of the year they need to be on top of their stock control.

They haven't arrived yet! £13.50 special delivery too. They had better come

lazymum99 · 27/03/2022 13:13

At least I got a very quick refund. But completely useless in the circumstances. My mum is 88 in a care home and I am abroad so can’t visit today
