Just read this article on the revised using your phone whilst driving laws.

Am I right in what I've read that you can't take or receive a call whilst driving?

Not that I'm an idiot and use my handheld device whilst driving, I don't, but does this apply to taking a call through your car? I'm still confused

As long as it's hands free it's ok. If you are holding your phone in your hands at any point it's illegal (except when stationary and paying for tolls/drive through)
