After everyone being poorly in house house on and off since Xmas I have decided to spend my day off having a proper house fettle. Got the carpet cleaner out and the shade of the water is DISGUSTING yet somehow satisfying (we're actually very clean people and don't have shoes on in the house etc so how it's so mucky I don't know!)
Anyhow, got me to thinking, what your utterly disgusting yet satisfying jobs you do in the house?

I get a lot of satisfaction from getting the cushions off the sofa to hoover underneath

Sadly lost last year but cleaning out our rabbits was so satisfying!! The smell of the sawdust and all those fresh twigs and hay!!

Cleaning out the manky, food gathering components in the dishwasher.

Pulling hair out of plughole 🤦‍♀️😁

We have an old rug in our hallway that DH wants to replace. Tempted to stick it out on the patio and get the power washer on it to see how it some up! It's no big deal if it disintegrates as we're looking to replace anyhow!

Ooh I got a set of those drain snakey things (that basically look like giant cable ties with jaggy bit on). SO satisfying!

Cleaning fermented shampoo out of the shower trap is top of my list. However after DH bought tickets for DD to go and see her favourite singer she has promised that she will always do this task. ALWAYS. Probably should have got it in writing.
