Hand held clothes steamers

I keep seeing those new handheld clothes steamer thing is on TV - I quite like the look of them. I almost never iron things because I hate it, and tend to dry tops etc just by hanging them up nice and straight on a hanger. But sometimes they look like they could do with a quick press, and I can never be bothered to get the iron and board out.

These hand held machines actually look quite fun Grin

Has anyone used one? Are they any good? Is there a particular brand you would recommend?

Thanks Smile

Oh come on I thought Mumsnet would be all over these gadgets.

I am looking at the Propress but seems expensive compared to others.

Thinking an upright model might be better but a handheld would be good for travel too.

I brought one from Lidl last year, its alright but I'm sure a bigger more expensive one would be better. I only use it for one or two things though, anymore and I'd get the iron out (very rare though)

Interested too, as I cycle to work and am frequently 'stylishly crumpled'.

I bought a cheap one and it was rubbish. One tee shirt and it was empty and it had to cool down before you could refill it.

My neighbour has one - looks a lot more expensive than mine and loves it.

I have Philips Steam and Go. It’s perfect for when you have a few items to smarten up but can’t be bothered getting out the iron and board. I even take it on holiday

Hi

Thanks for the replies. Looks like the Philips Steam & Go is the leading contender so far!
