Sorry - blatantly posting here for traffic. Have a breast lump and 2 biopsies so far have shown it to be a benign radial scar. The advice was to take it out with a vacuum biopsy and 2 weeks ago they put in a coil marker to make sure the area was easily found. Vacuum biopsy booked for 10 days time. In the last 5 days I’ve developed a red/pink rash around where the lump and marker are……anyone had this reaction before?! Just wondering if it’s an allergic reaction to the metal coil marker, if an infection got in when they put the marker in….just in case anyone can put my mind at ease now, I’ll obv call consultant in the morning!!
