Do you ever feel genuinely happy?

After a rough couple of years... including a LTR break up and my son attempting suicide (both last year) - I sat outside today in the sun with a coffee after mowing mine and my neighbours lawn and finally thought, I AM HAPPY AGAIN! Its taken almost a year (since my son tried to kill himself/my breakup) to get to this point where I'm happily single, happy alone and happy just being me....

What makes you happy?

I think it's the simple things too, going for a walk when the sun it out and having my sons little hand in mine.

I'm glad you have been able to smile again and feel happy and I wish nothing but the best for both you and your son. Life is hard sometimes.

Sending love your way x

I am so pleased to read your OP, I think it is brillaint you are happy again after such a tough time.

I am not happy often enough at the moment as my job is really dreadful, but I have hope that it will pass.

@carefullycourageous

I'm sorry you're not often happy. I really empathise with you. Being unhappy is utterly miserable. I've been messed up completely by losing the love of my life and my son being so unwell - but today, I felt really really good. It's taken so long to get here ... Do NOT ever give up hope for the happiness you deserve xxx
