Londoners - off the beaten track brunch or lunch venues?

Have you been anywhere for an interesting day out (including brunch or lunch) that would suit a small group of friends who have done all the usual Londony type stuff? Something a bit unusual or not widely known about for London residents?

See the other thread about vineyards in England ... quite a few are within easy reach of London if that appeals.
