Looking for recommendations please!

  1. I'm 29 and about to start TTC with my DH. What books really helped you through first pregnancy, miscarriage, childbirth & the early years? I feel like I don't have much practical knowledge and I haven't been around children a lot.
  1. I'm after a good anti-wrinkle cream. I've recently started to notice fine lines on my forehead and around my eyes. Yes I understand this is natural but I'm looking to slow it down if possible... the market is overwhelming! What worked for you?

Thank you & have a fabulous day in this beautiful sunshine!

Get ovulation tests and begin them immediately, learn about your fertile window and try to have sex every second or third day from period to period. You can get them cheaply on Amazon. Don't get discouraged, it can be a brutal process.
You will obsess over every cramp and change to your discharge, try not to. It makes the TWW so much more stressful.
Start folic acid now and check your lube is sperm-friendly. A lot aren't!
Book yourself and your partner into a baby first aid course once you're pregnant. They sometimes choke when weaning and it can be scary. It's good to know what to do in case of emergency
I realise you asked for books, but those are tips people often don't realise 😊

As for face cream, stay away from retinol, they are harmful to a baby.
I like Cerave PM and AM along with the eye cream.
Paula's choice is the best though and I use her range for moisturiser, cleanser and serums when I have spare money.
Staying super hydrated inside and out, along with SPF are the BEST wrinkle preventative measures.

I wish you all the best on your TTC journey!
