Noisy neighbours again

I don't know if anyone read my recent thread with new neighbours and them holding parties and being noisy etc.

So it happened again this weekend. Saturday night all quiet up until midnight then I heard a car playing loud music arrive at their house and then there was loud music, doors slamming really loudly and loud voices/laughter/singing again, all up until 2.30am.

I did speak to one of the women two weeks ago, just popped round for a cup of tea, mentioned the noise and she said oh no problem we'll turn it down or keep quieter. She actually sympathised re the noise and sleep. Her house mate had gone off to see family abroad. Turns out the woman I saw has recently got divorced, sold the family home so she said and moved from country to London suburbs for first time in her life.

My boyfriend and my cousin were staying with me this weekend, luckily I had earplugs in, but I really didn't want to get into texting them, especially seeing as I'd done this before. My boyfriend said after a while, their music is really loud.

So what do I do now? Put up and shut up? Say nothing? I can guarantee I'm almost tempted to message the NDN who owns the house. It's a family street and we just don't have loud parties on this street, at least not down our end.

I just went and read your other thread. So they’ve had 2 loud parties since they moved in in December 2021 and now they’ve made noise for 2&1/2 hours?

I think the time to do something was that night tbh, just knock and ask them to keep it down because you have work in the morning or whatever. Inconsiderate neighbours aren’t great but 3 times since December isn’t a massive amount of disturbance.
