Cyst thing on inner thigh - does it need GP?

Lump/spot on my inner thigh, it’s about the size of a broadbean (oddly specific) and red/hot and painful . Hurts a bit to put my legs together . It’s come up overnight . I’m not sure if it’s worth bothering the GP, or just leaving it and hoping it goes away by itself . I’ve got a routine appointment on Friday anyway so could always just tell the doctor then if it hasn’t buggered off .

I’ve tried squeezing/hot flannel etc but no change really !

If you've got an appointment on Friday anyway, then maybe wait til then, you may need antibiotics. However, if it gets bigger suddenly and much more painful, I'd go straight to A&E. My dd had this a couple of times and the doctor just sent her to A&E, so lots of wasted time.

I wouldn't go day one. Wait and see what it's like in a couple of days, unless you start to feel unwell
