I've tested postive for Covid. Do I still need to report my lateral flow result? If so, why? Hasn't all restrictions ended ? I will self Isolate until negative anyway but I don't want to be bothered by track and trace

You don't have to do anything

halfsiesonapotnoodle · 22/03/2022 08:17

Check on the government website for the country you're in. It will explain precisely what the rules are. Its Test and Trace btw, not Track and Trace (a Post Office parcel service!)

😆 sorry test and trace !
Ahh okay, I stopped paying attention to be honest to it all so I'm abit clueless now

Report it. Test and trace won’t bother any more. I heard nothing from them after my recent positive test.

halfsiesonapotnoodle · 22/03/2022 08:46

Hope you feel OK WITH it, OP.

Whoops, accidental capitals!

LynetteScavo · 22/03/2022 12:17

Test and trace won't bother you anymore. I went for a PCR, and have heard nothing. You don't have to stay at home - work have told me they can't send me home if I chose to go in. I wouldn't be very popular though! (I couldn't anyway as I feel pants)

emmathedilemma · 22/03/2022 12:27

it depends where you live, the rules are different across the UK so as @halfsiesonapotnoodle says you need to check the relevant website.
