Lucky you! How were they? Need go and see more bands. Sorry I didn't go and see Simple Minds recently.

They were fabulous. One of the best gigs I've ever been to. It was absolutely great.

I was due to see simple minds, but it got covid-cancelled and we got our money back

Good afternoon.
Oh. I love TfF and Simple Minds 😍😍.
TfF are the first group to play on my ear buds while out walking.
We went to see The Stranglers at the Manchester (used to be) Apollo and when we came out, there were tour dates on a poster for Simple Minds.
We didn’t buy any tickets at the time thinking they’ll be on again soon, but they haven’t been to Manchester since…😞

…..which reminds me fast has time gone !
We are seeing Gary Numan on the 18th May.
Only seems two minutes since we booked the tickets 😮

Were TfF good Roguey? Would you recommend?
I’ve seen tour dates for them recently.

Saw the Human League pre covid, they were fantastic.

TfF were sooooooo good.

It was an almost perfect experience (the beer was v expensive!!)

It was an outdoor gig in June, so around the longest day. The sun was shining, it was warm. We were in a beautiful place (a beautiful stately home and grounds closeish to where I live). I was with a group of friends I love a lot. They played pretty much every song I wanted them to.
They were supported by scritti politti, which was fun (although Green has not aged well!) And some other band who I'd not heard of but enjoyed.
It was just ACE!
Really, really, really enjoyed it.

Thank you @AllTheYoungGoodyTwoShoes,.He has toured the US already, and started his UK tour last week.
He did Wembley Arena last night, and according to what I read, he smashed it.

That sounds glorious Roguey, apart from the expensive beer.

I also saw Madness and Squeeze in December last year live for the first time although have seen Chris Difford live before. They were both amazing as well.

Yes it is next week, and yes I think I might just put on a li’l flurry of Numan lyrics 🙂😁.
Although I’m not sure how many Numan songs you all know apart from AFE and Cars or…..will I be pleasantly surprised? 🤔

It was years ago, he was supporting Jools Holland ironically! He was quite good from what I remember. I'm sure Squeeze are touring this year.
