London People Where can we stay?

If you needed to get to either Green Park or Victoria stations for relatively early in the morning (say 8am or just after), but you needed somewhere to stay overnight that you could park - so presumably outside of London, where would you be looking please?
Ideally we'd like Air b'n'b but something like a travel lodge or other affordable accommodation would be fine, but would have to be walkable to the station, or somewhere with parking at the station on a weekday morning, hence appreciating the help of someone with inside knowledge.
Not sure what town or area to start googling, so any help appreciated. Smile

A lot depends where you're coming from how much time you have the previous day and how long you will be.
Mainline trains into Victoria are mainly from the south there are also options from the west / south west on Waterloo trains and change at Clapham junction.
From the north and east you're better looking at connecting via the Victoria line which is quick either coming into the end Tottenham way or rail to Finsbury Park or Kings Cross / St Pancras.
Be warned it will be busy and at least pre covid car parking filled up rapidly.

Bromley South, 17 mins to Victoria, Premier inn opposite the station.

You could also look at Woking, also a Premier inn right next door, but it is about 30 minutes from Waterloo, so Bromley is closer.

Ooh, thank you for quick responses.
Sorry, never occurred to me about where we are coming from.
We are in the Midlands, so ideally North or even West. Sorry, it didn't occur to me to say that Blush
We need to be in London on both the Wed and Fri of same week, but it is the Fri that is the early one, hence we thought it would make sense to drive, stay somewhere commutable for two nights but be able to leave bags in car / bring more stuff than we would want to stuff into rucksacks.
Thanks for your ideas.

If you come into Euston it's only 3 stops to green Park on the Victoria line. Watford junction has fast (make sure you don't catch the slow one) trains to Euston that take about 19 minutes. There is a holiday inn express just a couple of minutes from station.
