Anyone else's DC do 1.5-2 hours activities after school every day?

How do you arrange things? Homework, time to relax... Do you make the child do chores or do you try to alleviate what you would otherwise expect of them? Tips to keep sane?

What I will say is that when they are at senior school, they will need to factor in a lot more time for homework.

Yes, mine had to cut back a bit by the second year of secondary school. They are doing GCSE and A levels this year but still managing 2 or 3 sessions of sport a week each though, really glad they kept going with them.

Mine sort of does, in that she goes to after school club every week day because we both work ft.
So not organised specific activities, but still less down time than she would get if we picked her up straight from school.
She enjoys it as she's quite an extrovert and happy being in a busy environment with lots of other kids. But I think it would be harder for kids who find that kind of environment tiring.

She does something for half an hour but even that is too much everyday because she's exhausted!
