Are there any new-ish movies that REALLY scratch the Indiana Jones itch?

DH and I have got flu (not covid, we're proudly flying the flag for good old-fashioned flu in this house) and are fit for nothing but vegging out with movies and snacks this afternoon. Can anyone recommend a movie that has all the fast-paced, slightly corny archeology/mystery/puzzle-solving, 'grown-up Famous Five plot' elements of Indiana Jones? We've seen the National Treasure films and all the Dan Brown adaptations.

The Kingsman films. We thought there was some Indians Jones-esque parts in The King’s Man

I don't rate Uncharted. Really weak plot. My 13yo even commented they could have done a lot better with the storyline.

@hotpotnoodles

I love treasure hunt, adventure type movies,

National Treasure 1 & 2
Fools Gold
Journey to the centre of the earth. There’s the original with Brendan Fraser and another with a Dwayne Johnson

I think the film with Dwayne Johnson is called Journey 2, in thought it was pretty good. There’s a series on sky/now tv called Hooten & the Lady. It like a sort of modern day Indiana Jones, I did enjoy this but found it frustrating too. It’s got a great cast, locations etc but they could have done so much more with it, but is still worth a watch.

We watched Jungle Cruise, it was great - exactly the silly magical adventure we were hoping for Grin

Oh yes! I really enjoy Olympus had fallen - find it totally re-watchable too. There is a similar one called White House Down which I also enjoyed.
