Going to Paris city and Disneyland Paris - where to stay?

We're going to Paris for a 5 days, probably do 2 days in Disneyland Paris, 2 days in Paris' city centre and 1 day going to Versailles.

We're not sure where to stay - near to Disneyland or near to the city centre? Ideally we don't want to move hotels mid way through the break.

Has anyone done this kind of trip and, if so, where did you stay?

Torcy. I've stayed there twice doing exactly the same trip as you, both times. Versailles is a bit of a trip out of town but doable. Really close to the train station, couple of stops to Disney, a few stops in the other direction and you'll be popping up in Central Paris.

We've done this twice.

First time we stayed at Disney then moved into Paris itself and it was a disaster. Really noisy hotel and street. Not as easy to navigate from as it had seemed when booking.
The second time we stayed at Disney the whole time. We had 5 days worth of park tickets to be used over a 7 day period. And so could pick when to go into Paris. It broke up the park days well. It's easy to jump on a train from Disney straight into centre of Paris. Hotels are family friendly and easy to get back to from the train after a busy day.
