Hi, does anyone know if PIP are continuing with phone assessments in future? Thanks

Looks like it. My mate had hers on Wednesday. 2.5hrs, absolutely exhausting for us both. Assessor spoke so fast we had to ask her to slow down.

Also, watch the bastards - we asked for a recorded appointment. They said on but it'll be delayed. Appointment then offered, not recorded, when asked to provide the agreed recorded appointment they said this would be noted down as us refusing to attend the offered appointment therefore wouldn't be offered another.

Utter disgrace.

I took huge notes of the interview. We went to tribunal last time and went from 0 points in both to standard care and higher mobility. We also made sure to read out a prepared statement at the end of the call, which we asked her to write in, so we'll see what happens.

Got mine this week, on the phone. Not looking forward to it.

@SilverHairedCat
That sounds disgraceful, what a way to treat a vulnerable person. What kind of points did you raise in the prepared statement.

I wonder if they are going to keep going with the phone appointments for the future.
