DP and I got a collection of John Lewis vouchers for Xmas totalling £250. We're about to move house. None of the things we've thought of are actually stocked by JL, so what home based product have you seen in there that's actually worth having?

I treated myself to Egyptian cotton sheets. 400 count. Now 3 years old used every day and still bring a sigh of contentment.

Bedding, towels, kitchen stuff (pots, crockery, glasses), curtains maybe even made to measure.

A decent set of saucepans

A rug?
Lovely bedding?
New towels?
Le Creuset casserole dish?
Bookcase?
Record player?
Kitchen knives?
New pillows and duvet?

Use the vouchers for grocery shopping in Waitrose and buy the things you need from wherever sells them.

Or just spend £250 on another treat seeing as it's 'gift money'.
