I had to go for PCR test this morning travelling on A55 towards England the traffic coming into Wales was heavy. Caravans, campervans cars loaded with canoes, bikes, so what you all doing today. It's 18c here woo hoo

Today is dd's birthday, it is a funny old time in terms of weather, it can be lovely sunshine or cold and snowing. It snowed on her 1st birthday.

I'm taking the opportunity to tidy up the shed and greenhouse.

ZittiEBuoni · 19/03/2022 14:17

I'm in a coastal town and it's full of people who have rushed down to catch the sun - but it's 11 degrees here and blowing a gale...

SnowCatya · 19/03/2022 14:30

Sulking because I prefer winter Sad and really despise warm weather

soundsystem · 19/03/2022 14:36

It's beautiful, isn't it? I've broken my ankle so especially grateful for the warm weather as can chuck the kids into the garden to entertain themselves Grin

Ilikewinter · 19/03/2022 14:41

Ive hung my washing out on the line for the first time this year - love line dried bed sheets!

corlan · 19/03/2022 14:42

Just took me over 20 minutes to get in to Kew Gardens on my lunch break.
Where was everyone on the grey, rainy days eh? They should have a fast track queue for the stalwarts that come even in bad weather!

Amdone123 · 19/03/2022 14:50

Up early (7am) - so much easier when it's not raining. Walked 6 miles with my dsis, washing on the line and garden tidied, etc by dh ( it was such a mess). It's not hot enough for me to sit outside, but still lovely and anything is better than the rain.

Staying with FIL. DC up at 6.15 am (normally nearer 8 or 9am) Shock

Went for a walk along a canal towpath, stopping at a garden centre halfway then pub lunch at the end. Then they played in the park at the end of the road for 20 mins. Now they are having a bath before we head home (we only have a shower). Tonight DS1 (13) & DH are going to a 40th birthday party of somebody I know vaguely. I am using the smaller 2 as an excuse not to ho as I just can't be bothered & they would be tired & bored!

That's really funny, I'm looking at a photo on my sideboard of my boys in exactly that position @Scarby9 ! Shock

Got covid, so staying at home, but thankfully not feeling too poorly now. I've got the cushions out for the outdoor seats and have been enjoying a coffee and book in the sunshine. I've done a load of washing and feeling very cheery about it drying outside.

SpikeySmooth · 19/03/2022 16:10

I'm at work. Angry

Wouldntitbenicetobeinyourshoes · 19/03/2022 16:10

I’ve baked, cleaned, DM came for lunch on the patio and I’ve mowed the lawn. The line is full of washing blowing in the breeze that’s appeared but it’s still lovely and sunny.

HelloCanYouHearMe · 19/03/2022 16:17

I have a child free weekend - I went to the gym this morning, took a walk to the town centre early afternoon for drinks with DP and picked up some food for dinner.

Rugby all the way now for the rest of the afternoon

Nidan2Sandan · 19/03/2022 16:23

Its bright and sunny here but the wind is FREEZING!! So as long as you're somewhere sheltered its lovely.

I've been doing laundry, hung on the line. We went for a walk to our local county park as we're lucky to live within a 5 minute walk and it has an epic play park and BMX track. Then we went to look at new bikes for the two younger kids.

Now we're chilling indoors before cooking dinner.

Whilst I whinge that the FREEZING cold wind has given me an epic earache that now wont bugger off.

TroysMammy · 19/03/2022 16:28

Sowed veg and herb seeds in my greenhouse. It was flipping boiling in there.

alloalloallo · 19/03/2022 16:37

It’s beautifully sunny here, but it’s proper blowy and the wind is really cold.

I took the dog to the beach this morning and DD has had a riding lesson this afternoon. Now at home with a headache and earache and wild hair trying to warm up

ZittiEBuoni · 19/03/2022 16:53

Not there, Scarby9, but you've made me want to visit.

It's been a GREAT day for the kite surfers! Less so for the kids who were looking forward to a paddle and got an eyeful of sand instead.

Icantfindanewname · 19/03/2022 20:01

Had to temporarily bring the sheets off the line to allow the first bbq of the year to be cooked! All praise to the bbq operator, not so much for the one who did all the prep! Still, bbq was tasty, and sheets went back out afterwards to finish off drying. Now back on the bed, so looking forward to getting in them later Smile

justasking111 · 19/03/2022 22:04

Another glorious sunny morning here. Going to do all the washing peg out. Dig out the deckchair and sit in the sun in a sheltered spot with a book 😁
