I just heard this fantastic ex city banker now economist on radio4 this morning. He has some strong evidence that we are moving to a future that will just get worse for ordinary families whilst the super rich get richer. Obvious you might say, but look at why and what could be done to change it and stop a new feudalism creeping in. Google him, he is sound.
A reward for those who use less than average amounts of energy (ie the poor), instead of taxing energy use (the rich can afford it, the poor cannot).
Taxing wealth not income (via NI hikes which don't affect the super rich).
It's simple stuff, hurts no-one and makes levelling up a thing that might be more than a slogan.
