I have been pondering this a little today. I try not to spend too much time on MN, but I was thinking of the many things I now do since reading this forum that I might not have thought of before

Read books that I might never have heard of. You have cost me money, but that's my fault for having a book addiction!
Discovered podcasts!
Listened to podcasts that have been recommended on here, and learnt so much!
Got rid of my loo brush and use rubber gloves and a cloth Blush
Helpful ideas and useful links re health.
I swear my health is better thanks to some of the info I've found on here (I don't use other SM)
I've discovered that my nether regions will not itch if I use soap down there, as long as its Dove bar soap
Breathing exercises that have saved my sanity. I started by looking at the Wim Hof method ( cold shower anyone??) and literally this week came across a book by a James Nestor about nasal breathing, thanks to a poster on an insomnia thread. I'm already sleeping better and waking up without a clenched jaw, thus saving on paracetamol.
The feminist board is an eye opener. There is so much I didn't know!
Husband is expected to pull his weight in a way he wasn't before.
That despite some of the more antagonistic threads on AIBU, so many posters here are warm, wonderful and generous human beings.
I've had the odd quiet flounce when I've got a bit irritated, but in the main I am happy and grateful to be a small part of this community.

And so much more Smile

Anyone else like to share?

Teabreak time, and I've now just learned that you can use Alexa for online shopping. I'm going to have to look into that!

I've learned so much from Mumsnet.

It pains me when people pooh-pooh it.

At times, it's very much saved my sanity.

My children are now teenagers but I've been on here since I was pg with my first, MN has definitely shaped me in that time, for all the reasons you've outlined.
