Jobs that aren't sales

Pontificating what other jobs I could do that aren't sales related.

I like writing, working with spreadsheets, solving problems and have average to good people skills.

We're just bumping this thread for the OP.

I’m a Quantity surveyor, lots of spreadsheets and problem solving, a surprisingly large amount of writing reports.
Not loads of interaction with people involved but that’s fine by me…

I have to look up what pontificate means now. I though it was like to reflect or procrastinate.

Oh ha ha it means express opinions in a pompous or dogmatic way.

Sigh.

Oh your job sounds genuinely interesting! I don't mind about people interaction.

@Lastqueenofscotland What are salary prospects at middle level? I have no huge desire to go to the top but middle level with a salary that is just above average would be fine.

An office manager seems a good one for all the above, Spread sheets, letters, problem solving, being around people etc!

Have you got any qualifications? You're not just going to walk into a QS position...

Are you willing to do training or want something you can walk straight into? If the later, what qualifications do you have already e.g. degree?
