Present for 18yo male

It's DD's boyfriend's 18th birthday soon. They've been together a while, and I'd like to get him something but I've no idea what and DD is no help. Any suggestions? Budget isn't huge as we've had some financial problems lately.

Ds girlfriend's parents gave him card with meaningful words and bottle of fizz. Felt appropriate. He won't expect anything expensive.

Alcoholic gifts are a no-go, he doesn't/can't drink. I think a gift card might be the way forward though.

Gift card is the way to go . Food ones go down well ( Nando’s prezzo etc )

In that case gift card for a treat out for the two of them would be great.

Cinema or Amazon voucher

I second a gift card for a restaurant so they can go out together or if money is too short a costa card is always nice.
My neighbour gave my ds a couple of lottery scratch cards for his 18th which was fun!
