Where to go - romantic break in Jan

Where can we go for romantic break in January, first trip without baby!

Our baby will be 18 months and staying with my mum who he sees very regularly and adores.

Mum has offered to have him for 4/5 nights in Jan when it's easiest for DH to take time off work.

Would love recommendations as we haven't been away in years. Ideally a short flight in case we did need to get back. Budget £2.5k

Bruges or Vienna

I would look for a nice hotel with. spa (if you like these things) in a city you like. Weather can be anything so I would want to have a base I can also spend time at.

Bruges, Vienna, Berlin, Prague, Rome.

You could gamble on snow and go to the Alps, if you. don't ski look for a resort which offers other activities.

We went to Prague for a romantic weekend in January - highly recommend. No snow but VERY cold so make sure you pack thermals!

Good idea on a nice hotel with spa nothing better than warming up in a sauna after being out in the cold!
