Bleeding before 12 weeks pregnant and stressed

I am currently 10+4 weeks pregnant. I had a bleed 4 days ago (saturday) I went for a reassurance scan on the Monday and baby was fine and bouncy. However since then I have a light bleed once and then every now and then when I wipe. Sometimes its dark closer to brown or brighter red and then sometimes it's been almost like red glue coming out.

I rang the midwife who transfered me to the ward and basically said if it wasn't heavy or I wasn't in pain they couldn't do anything which I totally understand as ive already had a misscarrige.

I just want advice or more information. Has this happened to anyone else will it just be random on and off is gonna be a pernament fixture for the next 9 months. Random but can I have intercourse with my partner or will that make things worse. Any help would be amazing

I had a big bleed at 8+5 weeks, and then again a small bleed just over a week later. I had a scan and blood tests and all looked fine but I was told it was a wait and see situation. Bleeding in early pregnancy is more common than you think, but it can also unfortunately indicate miscarriage.

I had a massive bleed at 12 weeks. She's a 22 month old terror now. Sadly I've also had early pregnancy bleeding a couple of times which did end in miscarriage but that started much earlier, went on for weeks, and the babies weren't growing at the rate they should have been.

Have you asked about progesterone? If you've already had a miscarriage, you should be eligible for it if you're now experiencing bleeding.

And personal question, sorry, but had you had sex before the bleeding started? No-one was ever able to explain the bleed I had with DD but the doctor's best guess was that my cervix had been irritated when DH and I had had sex that morning. We didn't have sex for the entirety of the second trimester after she said that...

No bleeding first pregnancy.
Second pregnancy, bleeding led to miscarriage.
Third pregnancy also bleeding but intermittently, the result is refusing to get off the computer and go to bed...(softly softly catchy monkey... And avoid an autistic meltdown that will wake the whole block ..)
