During the first lockdown I had a bit of a health kick and lost about half a stone. I was never overweight and essentially the half stone off made me a better runner and made a bit of space in my clothes. I felt better for the healthier lifestyle.
I've had some injury problems and personal challenges since and haven't run as much and have put on a stone since my lowest weight. But my clothes, even fitted unforgiving things that were tight before I lost the original half a stone, still fit.
I'm a little concerned because I'm now following the same "tactics" I did to lose that weight before, but weight is still going on, whereas it came off fairly easily before. I'm heavier now than I ever have been except when I was pregnant, but the jeans I bought in sixth-form, which I now wear to do the garden, still fit!
I'm 51 and wondering if this is all menopause related although no other symptoms and periods still regular.
