My DD is desperate for a pair of slip on school shoes. She’s year 2. What she means are the ones that look like loafers / brogues. The type I’d wear to the office! A few others at school do have these, but I can’t help but feel they’re not a sensible choice at that age. Wet feet, potentially falling off, and do they have to sort of clench the foot a bit to keep them on? She feels that the Mary Jane style shoes are too babyish 
Any suggestions for something that’d keep us both happy would be great …
