If you became a celebrity, which Celeb show would you go on?

For me, it's Richard Osmans House of Games.

Good questions, you get a chair, and the prizes are quaint and useable.

Failing that, Taskmaster. But I'd end up taking it way too seriously.

QI. You don’t have to be especially funny.

Definitely not I’m a Celeb

EmmaMaya · 15/03/2022 21:25

Strictly!

HazelBite · 15/03/2022 21:29

Graham Norton - Talk Show and Richard Osmans house of games
I could also quite fancy Celebrity Chase

Taskmaster or Hunted

XenoBitch · 15/03/2022 21:32

Graham Norton. It always seems a lot of fun.

takingmytimeonmyride · 15/03/2022 21:35

Ooh yes, House of Games. I'm good at that. Not Taskmaster because I'd be useless at thinking up anything, funny or not.

The Masked Singer. That looks like lots of fun, if a bit stifling in the costumes.

@EmmaMaya

Strictly!
Not afraid of "the curse"?

Graham is easily the best ever Talk show host - he allows so much free chatter. I get so annoyed when I see clips of other talk shows and the guests are constantly cut off.

I'm so torn. I'd be brilliant at House of Games and I really fancy the prizes. And I'd be terrible at Strictly and embarrass myself....but I love it so. And the frocks!

ClariceQuiff · 15/03/2022 21:42

Mastermind. I've thought of going on it as a non-celebrity, as I usually do fairly well at home, but I'd have a better chance of victory on the celebrity version because most of them don't take it seriously.

What would be your topic?

Ohh good question.
I'd do the SAS programme or ninja warrior.

HazelBite · 15/03/2022 21:49

The one I could never imagine doing is Dancing on Ice, far too dangerous and difficult.

The life and work of ... any one of my favourite writers. Apparently you have to offer several 'specialist' options and the producers pick one. There are quite a few obscure things I could offer but they might be considered too niche.

You read my mind!

For all Fame is actual hell on earth, some of these Celeb shows are fairly decent perks. I love Pointless so I'd do a Celeb version of that, but only if I wasn't paired with a twat

OP posts:
Poshjock · 15/03/2022 22:01

Oh so many - my agent would be very busy...

Strictly
House of Games (why can't they do a not famous version?)
Masterchef
Sewing Bee
Pointless
I would consider Dancing on Ice but I can't stand Schofield.

CurbsideProphet · 15/03/2022 22:05

Great thread.

House of Games definitely. Even if you're rubbish no one minds. You have a gentle chuckle about it and then the person who keeps winning usually gives you a prize anyway 🙂

I love Taskmaster, but I would likely end up the Katherine Parkinson and look completely mortified by everything I did.

Only Graham Norton if I needed to plug something, as otherwise there's no point.

Maybe Strictly, but only if they asked me in the January so I could spend 8 months secretly learning to dance and then pretend I was just a total natural.

H1Drangea · 15/03/2022 22:07

Strictly
Celebrity bake off or Masterchef
Any sort of road trip / wine route especially welcome

Redcrayons · 15/03/2022 22:07

Strictly.
They wouldn’t even have to pay me.

Came on to say House of Games. Or TaskMaster, which I recently had the joy of watching. 😅
Iwanttenofthose · 15/03/2022 22:10

I'd do the Bear Grylls one (and win)

Sleepy86 · 15/03/2022 22:11

190% dancing on ice, but not sure if they would have me as I can already figure skate (passed all basic grades and working on judged levels now)

GreenClock · 15/03/2022 22:14

Would I Lie To You.

Strictly when I was younger and fitter.

Ididanamechange · 15/03/2022 22:14

Celebrity masterchef or bake off becuase whilst I'm not a bad cook im nowhere near good enough to enter as a contestant.
