Today a car pulled out on me

So I picked the kids up from school today and I was doing 40mph down a 50mph road and a car pulled out on me.

It was awful, a huge bang, my kids were screaming 😢.

Both cars written off and the other party has accepted fault.

We have all been checked out and other than a bruised sternum (me) we are all okay.

I can’t stop hearing the bang it just came out of nowhere 😢.

No idea how I’m getting the kids to school tomorrow hoping I get a courtesy car soon.

I’m so pleased my children are okay. Feeling tearful.

Happened to a car dh was in a few weeks ago.
Go easy on yourself. You may feel worse tomorrow (dh had a huge bruise where his seatbelt had kicked in).

Horrible experience, you’ll find yourself going over it as you process what happened. No one was seriously hurt—- that’s the main thing. Cars can be replaced. Soak in a bath, listen to some music or read, try to relax. You’ll probably ache more tomorrow but hopefully pass in couple of days.
