Had gallbladder out today and am home. Nurse at hospital said to take peppermint oil, peppermint tea etc for this awful trapped wind pain. I have some of these (I think... need to check). Can I take them for this do you think?

Yes you can. Personally I prefer windeze, tbh I’ve taken both in the past! When I had my hysterectomy I took Windeze but yeah those tablets you’ve got will be fine.

Thanks so much (sorry I somehow fell asleep even with the trapped wind!) I will try them and if no luck will look up windeeze. Thanks again.

And, bizarrely, Mint Imperial sweeties are also very effective for trapped wind. Take several.

Minty Chewing gum was given out on the hospital ward for trapped wind when I worked on surgical. I use Wndeez they are best.

Not sure if they will help as it may not be trapped wind. When they remove your gallbladder they fill you with gas and the pain for the first few days is that gas escaping, very uncomfortable I hope you recover well x
