I’m sure this has been done before but I’ve not seen it. What’s the first thing that pops into your head when you think of your favourite ever food?
Mine is a bit of a weird one-really fancy smoked salmon

cheese and mushroom omelette and toast

Spaghetti carbonara.

Jacket potato

Fresh bread. I could live on it.

Pizza.

Sushi 🍣

Ooh smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel. Salt beef bagel. Pie and mash with liquor (I'm a Londoner) Crab claws! Can't chose just one.

Loving that bread and butter (I’ll allow toast) has had so many mentions.
I’ve started having bread, butter and blackcurrant jam for breakfast. It’s taken me back to 1974 when we had it for breakfast most days.

Tuna pasta with loads of cheese in it and garlic bread on the side

Potato gratin, made with cream and then just a little bit of cheese on top, the most comforting comfort food ever

Egg fried rice or macaroni cheese

Chips

Jambon-Beurre. With French salt-crystal butter.

Nachos

Anything flavoured with truffle

Chicken tacos with salad, guacamole and grated cheese, or nachos topped with chilli, melted cheese and guacamole.
