I am shocked and ashamed and unfit
My bmi is 30
I have taken immediate steps from last night when i discovered this.
I am tall so I have been able to "get away" longer but recently have been taken aback at photos and videos
I have a double chin
I need to fix this

Not even sure why I am posting. Have told dh that I am firmly on the wagon but not what's shocked me into action.

Sad

Hello. How are you feeling about it?
Were you like me just thinking that I can just put a bit of effort in and be okay...

I knew I was over weight, but not obese !
I am active, I do two 1 hour classes a week and walk the dog. It’s the snacking , peri menopause and Prosecco that has done it.

My BMI is 36. I'd love it if it was 30!

The main thing is you’ve recognised you need to lose a bit before it gets to a bigger problem.

There’s great support on the weight loss chat board. What’s your plan? You can usually find like minded people to share ideas with.

You're right. I have signed up to something called second nature, and will likely do a mix of intermittent fasting with low calorie I think. Maybe not purely low carb, I had bread with my soup at lunch, but did 1100 cals today, which I am happy with.
