The White Company should I buy the air purifier or the electric diffuser?

Just that really? My house often smells thanks to the dog and being on a farm so want to get something to help combat it and I love the fragrances from The White Company.
Does the air purifier really work or just a gimmick? I like the look of the textured diffuser though….

My daughter bought me the electric diffuser and 3 bottles of 'pong'. I used it twice - the first time the steam that puffed out marked the wooden shelf above it; the second time it gave aforesaid daughter a splitting headache. I didn't feel it was something you'd have on all the time (even more so with electric going up) and the puffing bit was a bit distracting tbh so it's in the cupboard. When she forgets how expensive it was, I'll take it to the charity shop 😳

Oh that’s a bit disappointing, maybe the purifier won’t be quite so strong in that case?

Only my experience though. What do the online reviews say?

I would avoid anything that adds moisture to the inside of your home which could over time crest damp even in just a small area.

Perhaps try a cheaper diffuser first and see what you think OP, you can get them very cheaply on Amazon etc. You could still use the White company diffuser oils if you wanted though I find them a bit synthetic and headache inducing and worry what I'm breathing in. Pure essential oils in small doses are better and scent the room well.

I have a cheap diffuser from amazon that I enjoy when I use it, mainly I find the noise and glow from the light relaxing and don't bother with a scent at all. They do need regular cleaning and the smaller sizes don't hold that much water so require refilling when they're running or they'll cut out when empty.
