I had an Instagram account that I made about 8/9 years ago and I can’t get rid of it.
I have a different account now and I can’t get into my original account because I can’t remember the email address or password I used for it so I can’t get into it to delete it.
A few years ago, I did ask Instagram if they could remove the old account but they couldn’t verify my identity so they asked me to take a picture of myself holding a piece of paper with my details on it and they still, for some reason, couldn’t identify me.
To this day, the account is still there. I seriously want it removed but I can’t get into it!
There must be some way? Has anyone had this before and know how to get rid of the account?
