Dd2 has a few friends coming over for her birthday tomorrow. Plan is they watch a film and eat some pizza. I need a few back up ideas of activities they could do if needed, and can't think of anything. I am heading to the supermarket in the morning so should be able to pick up a few bits if needed.

Hi, I recently had a party for my DD who turned 9 and I did a treasure hunt which went down very well, and pass the parcel with forfeits as well as a sweet in layer, funny things like do the floss, pretend to be your teacher etc.

They also enjoyed running round the garden playing tag !!

Pass the parcel is good, whatever the age!
Would they enjoy a pamper type activity - nails etc?
Let them to top their own pizzas, make cakes to take home, make up dance routines, or just ask them what they'd like to do!

Rock painting
Slime making
Decorate white t-shirts with fabric pens
Play a game - the family version of Cards Against Humanity (not the original which isn't appropriate for dc) or Throw Throw Burrito are both good party games.

I planned and got in a whole array of stuff. They played with balloons before I put the film on. Ignored the rest. Get some balloons.

Bar of chocolate. Hat scarf and gloves. Roll a six. Put on hat scarf and gloves. And try to cut chocolate with knife and fork. Whilst the dice goes round others until next person gets a six.

Up turned bowl of flour with chocolate piece on top. Take turns to cut away slice of flour. You lose if the chocolate falls and you have to eat it out.
