Watched Lego movie 2 with DS what the hell is the plot?

He loved it and I have no idea what even happened. I could follow the first movie.

I would suggest that the Lego Movie is one not to over think!

The original Lego Movie was brilliant. The second one is pretty poor

In the real world, Finn (the kid from the live-action bit of the first movie) and his younger sister Bianca (who was a toddler in that movie) are now five years older. She wants to borrow his Lego/for them both to play together; he is a cool teen, wants to keep their stuff separate and doesn't want to play together in the way that she does. If they keep fighting their mother is going to take ALL the Lego away.

The non-live-action bits of the film are just a Lego-character's-eye view of that. When Bianca borrows Finn's Lego, the characters are 'kidnapped' and taken to the 'Systar' [aka sister] System.

Also note Rex and Emmet are the same character. In an alternate reality Emmet fell down beside the washing machine and eventually willed himself to come alive and build a time traveling machine so he could go back in time and save emmet from the same fate.

All you really need to know is that this song is gonna get stuck inside your this songs gonna get stuck inside your this songs gonna get stuck inside your heaaaaaaaaaad

I remember thinking the same thing 😆 ds seemed to be able to follow it

Watch Lego Batman it’s brilliant (far better than the tedious latest Batman)

It’s my favourite Batman film
