Yes absolutely you can. You’re looking for a “virtual personal assistant”.

Betwixtlives · 11/03/2022 18:32

What sort of thing do you expect them to do?

Kazzyhoward · 11/03/2022 18:35

Yep, lots of "virtual assistants" out there, but you really need to be clear as to what you want them to do for you. Most things are online these days, especially "life admin", and you wouldn't really be wanting to give an outsider your login details and passwords (and it'd be against the terms of business for lots of services to do that anyway), so you have to think carefully about what they could do that doesn't involve you giving them too much access.

I’m a virtual PA. DM me. I can do anything from tax returns to marketing, to a bit of ironing if you’re close by.

Yes I use one and she is an absolute godsend.

There's a website called People per Hour where you can search for someone to help, you can see reviews of others that have used them. Tends to be remote workers though.

I am a remote life administrator. DM me for a chat.

I was also going to suggest People per Hour.
Choose based on reviews and sort all details before committing. It would a one-off project and might lead to other outsourcing in the future.

I needed this a few years ago. I was in family court a lot and needed someone to come to my home and sensibly file my paperwork/set up a good system. It would be an ideal few hours a week for a lawyer/paralegal/court rep etc - perhaps on maternity leave or sahm. I wasnt looking for long term and I wasnt expecting advice - I was already paying a solicitor. I offered a reasonable payment per hour. I couldnt find anybody. Virtual would not have helped me at all.
