Legoland, 1 adult, 2 children

I am considering taking my 5 year old and 3 year old to Legoland Windsor when we are on holiday near there in May.

I have never been though, and trying to figure out if it's worth it or if they will be too small to get much out of it. Also wondering if being there without another adult will be annoying, are there a lot of rides etc that are likely to be suitable for 1 child but not the other?

What do you think? Should I just forget about it and possibly do it another time when DH and our older kids are with us?

I have been to Legoland with both the DCs as a lone adult many times and the first time with both of them was probably when they were about that age. It was fine, you just need to be a bit strategic about checking height restrictions and logistics, etc. We always stayed at the hotel on site so I could enjoy a wee Mojito in the room once they were finally in bed Grin. Happy days.

I think there are plenty of rides you could all go on, it is quite spread out and a fair bit of walking though & you would have to carry everything you need. IIRC the lockers were a fair old trudge if you were wanting to store stuff.

They'll love it - loads to do with small children. Make sure you take swimmers and towels as the water thing is fun. I'd also take a packed lunch and eat it whilst you watch the pirate show.

Having said that - obviously avoid the half term week though.
