Had a peaceful dream I was on holiday floating down a brilliant blue river surrounded by waterfalls, forests and mountains staying in a little cabin, and it was warm. Now I want to go there on my summer holiday! Is there anywhere in Europe where I can stay by a nice (ideally crystal blue) river, swim in it or float in a rubber ring, or hire a canoe surrounded by mountains. I’m thinking alps or south of France, maybe norway (but is there somewhere warmer), the azures maybe? Can anyone recommend anywhere specific?
